About Coastline Swim Academy

Coastline Swim Academy teaches around 900 children a week across three east Kent pools. The programme runs from parent-and-baby classes right through to a development squad that feeds into local competitive clubs.

Classes are capped by ability rather than age, so children move up when they are ready instead of at the end of a term. Parents get a short written progress note every half term.

All teachers hold current Swim England qualifications and there is a qualified lifeguard poolside for every session.

Questions parents ask

How do you decide which class my child joins?

Every new swimmer has a short assessment in the water. We place by ability rather than age so children are always working at the right level.

What if we miss a lesson?

We offer one catch-up session per half term, subject to space in a class at the same level.

Do you teach children with additional needs?

Yes. We run smaller one-to-one sessions for children who need a quieter environment or more individual support. Talk to us about what would work.
