Garden of England Photography
Relaxed family and school-leaver photography across Kent.
About Garden of England Photography
Garden of England Photography does not do studios, backdrops or forced smiles. Sessions happen outdoors, usually in woodland or on a beach, and last about ninety minutes so children have time to stop performing and just be themselves.
Leaver portraits have become a large part of the work: Year 6 and Year 11 sessions photographed in uniform, which families tend to want and schools rarely offer well.
Every session includes a private online gallery, and prints are optional rather than the point of the whole exercise.

“Her Year 6 leaver photos are on the wall. Worth every penny.”
Questions parents ask
What if my child will not cooperate?
Most do not, at first. The session is long enough that we can wait it out, and the best photographs almost always come in the last twenty minutes once everyone has forgotten there is a camera.
Do we have to buy prints?
No. The fee includes edited digital images and a private gallery. Prints are available if you want them and entirely optional if you do not.
Do you photograph in schools?
Yes, for leaver portraits and events. We hold an enhanced DBS check and public liability insurance, and can provide both to the school in advance.
